"Pro-curo has been a boon for us.
For our research it is essential to track all of the material we hold in its anonymised form and Pro-curo is the best means of doing this we have tried.
We can enter samples on the system, record the creation new samples from existing ones and log what we have where, easily then audit what has occurred accurately. The database fields are our own to customise as is the entry of data.
Different staff have their own logged entries to the system according to what they can and should be doing, whilst recent changes have helped us optimise storage and minimise empty spaces in expensive to maintain nitrogen storage.
The searches are flexible and need no specialist IT know-how, with both records and searches exportable to excel for subsequent manipulation
The product is excellent but what lifts it above others is the personalised support we receive.
We know that comments will be taken on board so that we will get a fast response and if we ask the impossible an honest assessment of what can be done. We also know that system updates are informed by these to better meet our needs.
